Article Withdrawal Policy and Restrictions for Authors and Their Affiliations
1. Article Withdrawal by Authors
- As long as an article remains in the "Awaiting Assignment" status, authors are allowed to withdraw their submission without any restrictions.
- However, once an article enters the "In Review" stage, withdrawing the submission will result in a temporary restriction. All authors involved, along with their affiliated institutions, will be prohibited from participating in the journal’s manuscript circulation for the next two issues. This includes submitting new articles as authors, editing articles as editors, or reviewing manuscripts as reviewers.
2. Failure to Fulfill Obligations
The above restriction also applies in the following cases:
- The author fails to complete the required payment by the specified deadline.
- The author does not submit the required revision within the given revision deadline.
3. Exception
- The restriction does not apply if the article is rejected based on reviewer considerations.
4. Appeal for Lifting the Restriction
- The restriction may be lifted if the author submits a formal request to avitec@itda.ac.id and compensates for the costs incurred during the process.
