The editor will conduct an initial review of the article by referring to the applicable kacanegara template. Articles that do not pass the initial review will be returned to the author with reject status. Articles that pass the initial review will be sent by the editor to 2 peer reviewers who will assess it from a substantial aspect. The results of the peer review conducted by the peer reviewer will be sent to the editor to be able to make a decision based on the majority of the peer reviewer's decisions. The decision will be sent to the author, if rejected then the article will not be forwarded to the next process. If the decision is a major improvement, the author must improve it by re-uploading it on the review-editor decision-Upload Author Version menu. If the decision is a minor improvement, the author must make improvements and upload the results of the improvements on the review-editor decision-Upload Author Version menu, this revised article will be reviewed a second time to get a decision to accept. If the decision is accepted, the editor-in-chief will check for plagiarism using Turnitin, if the results of the check exceed the threshold, the editor-in-chief will ask the author to make improvements and send it back to the review-editor decision-Upload Author Version menu. Articles that have passed the plagiarism check will be layouted by the editor and the editor-in-chief will send the publication fee that must be paid by the author. After the publication payment has been confirmed, the editor-in-chief will publish the article together according to the publication schedule of Kacanegara Jurnal Pengabdian pada Masyarakat.
