Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines

The editors of KACANEGARA Journal of Community Service accept manuscript submissions in accordance with the following writing guidelines:

1. Authors who register an account with Kacanegara must provide their institutional affiliation so that it is recorded in the article metadata and displayed on the Kacanegara publication page.
2. Submitted manuscripts must not have been previously published in any other media and must be free from plagiarism.
3. Manuscripts should be written in Indonesian or English using appropriate academic language and standard academic writing structure and composition. Manuscripts should be typed in single spacing on quarto-sized paper (A4), with a length of 7–10 pages, including references, figures, and tables.
4. The title, abstract, and keywords must be written in Indonesian or English.
5. Manuscripts must be submitted through the online submission system available on this website.
6. Manuscripts must be prepared using Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx) and not in PDF format.
7. Manuscripts must be written in essay form and organized using the following structure:

• Title (maximum 20 words): comprehensive, clear, precise, and without subtitles.
  The title should be written in uppercase letters, font size 14, bold, and single-spaced.

• Author Names (without academic titles)

• Author Affiliation and Email Address

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it under consideration by another journal (or an explanation has been provided in the Comments to the Editor).
2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document format.
3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided
4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 11-point font; employs italics rather than underlining (except for URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points rather than at the end.
5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which can be found in the About the Journal section.

Authors retain all rights to their published work, including copyright, usage rights, and the right to archive the work in institutional repositories.

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under a Lisensi Atribusi Creative Commons, which permits others to share the work with proper acknowledgment of the authorship and initial publication in this journal.

Privacy Statement

The names and email addresses entered on this journal website will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

This journal charges the following author fees.
