Upaya peningkatan kesadaran melalui penyuluhan tentang pencegahan penyakit tidak menular selama pandemi Covid-19 di Desa Mulyodadi Bambanglipuro Bantul

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 belum berakhir, berbagai negara mengalami penyesuaian termasuk dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada pasien selain yang di diagnosa Covid-19. Banyak pasien Covid-19 yang di diagnosis penyakit tidak menular (PTM) seperti kanker, diabetes, penyakit jantung, stroke, gagal ginjal, yang mempunyai prognosis lebih buruk dibandingkan dengan pasien lain. Oleh karena itu upaya untuk meningkatkan kepahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat perlu dilakukan untuk menurunkan prevalensi PTM.  Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan dengan cara penyuluhan di tiga padukuhan (Bregan, Meijing, dan Kraton) Desa Mulyodadi Kapanewon Bambanglipuro Bantul. Waktu penyuluhan tanggal 12 dan 14 Februari 2022 di rumah kepala dukuh masing-masing. Sementara pendampingan dilakukan untuk mengetahui feedback masyarakat setelah kegiatan dilakukan, yang dilaksanakan dengan diskusi melalui googlemeet, pada tanggal 19 Februari 2022. Total masyarakat yang mengikuti kegiatan ini sebanyak 60 orang dari ketiga padukuhan. Hasil dari pre-post test menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai faktor risiko PTM dan upaya pencegahan PTM meningkat. Selain itu peserta aktif dan antusiasmenya tinggi selama kegiatan berlangsung. Hal ini terlihat dari banyaknya diskusi selama kegiatan berlangsung.  Harapannya masyarakat semakin paham dan dapat mempraktekkan hidup sehat sehingga terhindar dari penyakit tidak menular.
